CASE STUDY
-
Educational institutions and professionals in industrial design, architecture, and engineering requested specialized workshops on advanced materials—including bio-based polymers, traditional and bio-based composites, shape-memory polymers, 3D-printed materials, sustainable textiles, and lightweight metal alloys—to update their knowledge and understand application potential.
-
Customized four-hour workshops were developed, combining direct sample analysis with hands-on exercises and case studies. This approach enabled participants to understand material properties, manufacturing processes, and selection criteria, fostering technically robust and design-oriented knowledge transfer.
-
The training sessions provided specialized upskilling for professionals involved in material selection and development—designers, architects, engineers, and design studios—enhancing their ability to make informed decisions and apply advanced materials in academic, industrial, and innovation contexts.
